Image quality when resizing character.

    Hi,

Is there any way how to deal with the bad image quality when resizing the character? The original picture has high resolution and when the character gets smaller it doesn't look good, there are pixels on the edges. Is there way to make them more smooth? Thanks.

No unfortunately that's just one of the issues when scaling non-vector images up or down. They always tend to generate various artifacts.

If you have outlined your characters / objects / animations with black then the pixelated edges will be more prominent when you scale them down as opposed to images without outlines.

Unfortunately i need the black outlines, the whole game has it.
Ok thanks, guess/hope it doesn't look as bad as it seems to me.

Hi, I recommend having a small resolution as standard and if you need bigger resolutions in a scene add an outfit with higher resolution.

Then there is the issue that it's not sharp enough sometimes, guess it's about finding the best size compromise for the default then.
