How to change subtitles in-game?

Should this script be a definition script? Then it will be executed all the time, right? So you can't change the language.

I'm not sure what you want to do, but if you want to create options to change language of text and speech seperately then you should execute these lines whenever the specific options button is pressed and according to the selected language.
Oh yes, so I wanted to set these languages as the "normal" languages if you start the game. Later you should change the language in the options if you want. Im not quite sure how to solve this. I set this as a definition script just to see if it works, i hope this was right. I also translated just one sentence, just to see if it works, like a test. But I think this isnt bad.

If you execute these lines via an action part "execute a script" it works.
(I tested it as an action at the beginning of a scene - see image)

(or change it to execution script and call the script somewhere.)

Hmm, I dont know what I am doing wrong, I did exact the same thing. I wanted to execute an action part at the beginning of a scene but for some reason i couldnt execute an action part. So I easily executed the script If I use an object. But the language still doesnt change.

Oh damn, i know the problem. I wrote the languages in english, but I described them in german, now it works. Thank you very much for your help. But Im still wondering, why I cant execute an action part at the beginning of a scene or a menu.

    But you can...
Click the Action-tab right next to Waysystem, add an entry with "+" and select the execution type "at the beginning of a scene"
