Exporting game for OSX - Audio problem [SOLVED]

  • #1, by gabartsFriday, 21. June 2019, 10:36 A year ago
    Hello,

I'm testing on OSX, I'm working on Windows only at the moment, I've exported the game and background audio is fine on Windows. On Mac OSx the audio for background music is not working. I don't know if I need to export the game directly on OSx or is some other kind of problem.

    Anyone have experienced this issue?

    Thanks for help

    EDIT
    ----
Damn it, my fault, I was exporting windows and mac simultaneously and I was missing all the files in Mac folder... omg

I tought it was the missing files instead it’s still bugged. Plus from Mac to Mac it changes issues. I was testing under Yosemite on a macbook pro and the mouse cursor was overlapping making the game impossible to play. I think it’s something related to Mac export cause windows works fine.

Bug I'm having exporting from Windows and play on Mac:

    - Background music not working in all scenes and menu (all are ogg files)
    - A double bip and flashing screen when launching the game
    - The system mouse cursor is over the game cursor. The interface blocks the mouse
       (on Windows no issues)

these two things happen on regular mac builds as well. Not sure what the flashing causes. It occoured in the last version. Besides that the game works fine.
THe system coursor bug is a mac bug, where you may need to switch the app and back to the game or use the cursor finding by moving the mouse very fast back and forth and it should get bigger. When leaving the mouse alone, it should go away.

I see... thanks for the info anyway. On laptop mac (macbook pro) there is this cursor problem while on an iMac the game runs fine and there is only this issue with background music, hope to fix it exporting directly from Mac, that should be the right way to avoid any incompatibility problems.
