    Hey Guys! Please help me find some bugs! Or have fun playing my first version!
    Coma has german language and english subs. You can activate them in the main menu. I couldnt afford a professional translatioin, so feel free to suggest improvements!

    esc = restart/resume
    F5 = save/load
    F10 = quit without warning (careful)

    I try to upload a new version once a day.

    Ich hab mir dein Spiel angeschaut. Vorab: Sehr schöne Arbeit! Mir gefällt der Stil und die Athmosphäre sehr gut.

    Aber ich schweif gar nicht lange aus sondern komme zu bugs:

    -beim angucken der spieldiskette gabs einen textbug bei dem zeilen übereinander angezeigt wurden
    -sobald das amiga game gestartet hat war das spiel für mich vorbei. Ich konnte nicht steuern und das drücken der pfeiltasten brachte auch nichts. Die beine haben sich zwar bewegt aber es hat nicht gebracht. Im Spiel hab ich dann ESC gedrückt und war im Menu (aber ohne cursor) sobald ich dort auf resume gehe ist das Spiel broke, da das Inventar nicht mehr an ist.

    Ein paar andere Sachen, die mir aufgefallen sind:

    -Die Musik ist oft lauter als die Stimme und ein paar weichere Übergänge wären sinnvoll
    -Das Interface finde ich zu groß und beim umschalten zu behäbig (es sieht aber geil aus smile - leider verdeckt das große Interface oft das Objekt auf das man klickt.

    lg,

    Danke, dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast, Tobi!
    Das mit "schaue Diskette" habe ich gerade gefixt.
    Ich arbeite gerade am Zirkusgame. Bessere Erklärung und Steuerung ist von Nöten. Ich weiß auch noch nicht wie ich das mit Esc. lösen soll, falls man wie du das Spiel abbrechen möchte, aber eine Lösung wird sich da auch sicher finden.
    Weiche Übergänge hatte ich anfangs drin, jedoch haben die Sachen ausgelöst die nicht sein sollten.
    Wieso haut mir die Engine Bugs ins Spiel bei weichen Übergängen? Vielleicht finde ich auch dafür noch eine Lösung.
    Musik stelle ich etwas leiser.
    Das Interface wird in Zukunft etwas kleiner werden. Das steht aber gerade noch hinten an.

    Bis zum Wochenende werde ich eine neue Version haben und hoffe bis dahin alles slick zu haben.

    It's possible to export for any supported platforms on your windows machine, it is however recommended that you export for mac / ios from a mac though - easier.

    Anyway... you need to download a file from the link I provided (above) & follow the instructions on that page. You don't need to extract anything from the zip file, just place it where it says. Also if you export for mac, do not open up or mess with the files it exports as it can corrupt them, they are meant to be mounted on a mac in a similar fashion to ISO files.

    edit: alternatively, you could send your project & resource files to someone that has access to a mac & ask them to export a mac version for you. wink

    Ok got as far as the surreal music room. No idea what to do here really. It's hurting my noggin'! grin

    I liked the Amiga trainer splash & chip music. Reminds me of the A600 I had when I was a lot younger. I had tons (100's) of games for it bought & pirated (back when it was only possible to buy pirated games from car boot sales).

    The background art is really nice. I'm not so keen on your new character design styles mind, but I think that's more of a personal preference kind of thing. I'm not right savvy on all that chibi, anime, manga, whatever stuff.

    I also had issue with the elephant computer mini-game thing. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Took me a couple of minutes to realize I needed to press the relevant arrow key when the slider entered the box on the left or the right. I don't know how you sorted out that puzzle (pure animation I'm guessing), but here's a quick tip: you could use a single animation frame & use the to() tweening function to move the animation to whatever position you want over x amount of time passed (in milliseconds) with easing. Inside of your arrow key events you would then just check if animation position is more than x & less than y to determine when to execute the required actions. Then again.. if your method works ok for you, then it works. smile

    The English translation is ok for the most part. Few phrasing issues here & there but nothing major. I understood for the most part.

    There was a few instances of the character walking in front of / behind various scene objects that I don't think was supposed to happen. Mostly happened in the living room. The character ended up walking behind one of the cupboard doors - the one where you get the present from. You need to make sure that object / image is always drawn behind the character (object center of -1). The sofa, you should adjust the way border to prevent the character from walking too far into the foreground to prevent them walking through the arm rest of the sofa.

    Final point. I don't know if it was just my computer or if you intentionally set the mouse cursors to pulse & jitter like they do, they seemed to be vibrating irrationally. I'm glad I don't suffer from epilepsy as someone that does would probably be having a right field day. grin

    Conclusion: seems ok the me so far. overall nice graphics. voice acting for protagonist & mother is fine. didn't care for the elephant voice over though. don't mind the german voice over (I'm used to watching non-english films & tv series with v.o language & english subtitles > I always prefer v.o anyway > hate dubbing). Can't really comment on the story as I've not learned much about it from the tiny bit I've played.

    Anyway... good luck with rest of demo / game. wink
