Display Text Issue

    Hello

I found a small bug with the display text action.

On scene start, I am using the display text action and separating the text using: p3000ms

However left click to skip through the text is not working.

The bug only effects the first instance of display text, if I add another display text action, that will work correctly.

    Screenshot attached.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Kind Regards

add a small pause action part at the top of the at begin of scene action block. Say somewhere between 100 & 500ms. You might be able to get away with 16ms, but a higher number like 500ms is better. The issue is probably because the scene hasn't loaded yet.

    Hi

Thanks for the reply.  Adding a action block with 500ms did not work. Seems I need some text to go inside the first action block, to make all othe action blocks work correctly.

I don't think issue caused by scene loading, as I get the same issue on blank scenes

    Regards

hehe, I did say pause action part in my previous reply. Guess you misunderstood. Some action parts won't work correctly if instantly executed at the beginning of a scene because the scene hasn't loaded in yet - especially if you are using a fading transition between each scene as opposed to instantly changing to the next scene & even then it would still be a good idea to add a small pause just to make sure the scene has had enough time to load.

Anyway, at least you managed to sort out the issue. smile
