i found that the "button hold"-actionpart only triggers, when the mouse button is released AFTER being held. i want an action to start, when the button is pressed and held and end, when it is released.

Unfortunately there is no execution action for that available for scene objects, items, characters, etc. The only way to register mouse pressed & hold actions is under the mouse properties section of the game properties section or with Lua & the mouseEvent handler.
