    Hello everyone!

My name's Simon and I'm currently developing a game/interactive story called A Song for Viggo.

It's a story about a father that accidentally backs over his son, with his car. The son dies and this is how it all begins - the rest of the story is about managing life through trauma, grief, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, while managing his relations to his family. It's quite a sad game, but a game about bringing difficult topics to the videogame-medium, about showing that games can be so much more. That games doesn't have to be "fun", but instead a beautiful narrative interesting experience.

It's been under development for 6 years, and it's been through some phases where it's been scratched and built anew. Right now I'm kind of looking for team members thats interested to follow my vision in this. I'm building it in Visionaire. The graphics/artstyle is made of real stopmotion paper building (where I build the scenes in my kitchen, photograph/animate them and insert them into the engine).

As for the soundtrack here's a sneakpeek: https://soundcloud.com/simon-karlsson-24/sets/a-song-for-viggo

I kind of want to look for team members with heart and passion, endurance and kindness. It doesn't matter if you don't know certain skills if you're willing to learn. smile I wish I could say "here, take my money", but truth to be told I have no money to give. So everyone involved in this project are working for royalties (even me) wink. It's already confirmed to be released on Steam, but also planned to be released on Mac, Linux and iOS.

Write me a PM if you're interested. smile

I'd love to hear from you.

    Best regards
    Simon

Since I'm occupied with my own stuff and cannot really offer any help, I wanted to let you know, that your project looks absolutely stunning. Fingers crossed that you manage to bring it to life. Best of luck.

Hello Simon! Your game looks and sounds amazing. I would love to be able to contribute in any way I can.

My name is Justin, and I was the writer, coder, composer, and co-project lead for the game Midnight at the Celestial Palace.

I imagine I could probably help you out with anything aside from graphics. BTW, your piano work is lovely. If you'd like, I could certainly help you out with arrangements and orchestration if you're looking for that type of sound.

Let me know if you'd like my help! smile
