Zooming in visionaire studio?

    Hey,

    I wanted to ask if it's possible to zoom with visionaire studio? I have a single room that pans across 8 times the resolution of the game and at one point I would want to have "zoom out" where for a moment player is able to see whole huge room all at once and his own little character standing right next to gigantic object found in middle of the room. Can this be done with Visionaire or shall I have a video for this purpose?

    I found a trick around it. If you create a new scene with a solid .png image that you want (the zoomed out version) then you want you can create and Action ---> Show Scene (not change scene)---> Pause for X seconds---> Change scene to Character 'Current Character'

    Just tested it and it works.

    unless he wants it to dynamically zoom in/out then it would need to be a video I guess which would be easy enough to do with adobe after effects or something along those lines.

    I'm guessing seeing as it's a engine made for 2d games it doesn't really need a camera tool!?

    Aww a little bummer that I couldn't zoom out and in with engine itself, but no biggie I am sure I find a way around it. smile

    yeah it's a shame but unless the engine allows 3D dev then I don't see much of a need for it ... so for now you could use scene switch method or use a high res image in adobe after effects & zoom in/out with that which would look nicer than scene switching.
