Wahrscheinlich altbekanntes Thema: Schriftarten PNG im Tutorial

    Hallo Zusammen

Danke!

could you zip up your font image file & link here via sendspace or dropbox or something please so I can see how you've created it. don't bother attaching as an image here as for some reason the transparent sections of an image get filled in with black & contain the black background even when you open image in a new tab or download it.

as for the email part: send a pm to Marvel.

    Hi!

It's actually a PNG from the german Beginners Tutorial Set. You can download the zip file here: https://www.visionaire-studio.net/shop/article/tutorial-erst...

In the folder "Schriftarten" are the PNG's. They're not transparent so you need to select a the background color in Visionaire.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    ah er right...

if you create them with a transparent background then you tick the "alpha channel" radio option in the image selection box for the text you are adding.

check out the font image files that come with the included demo game that comes with the freeware version of VS.

I did that. I deleted the background in photoshop and saved it as a transparent png file. I checked the file again in PS and its definately with an Alpha Channel. I imported it into Visionaire with the Checkbox "alpha channel" checked with the same result.

As i said the strange thing is, that it seems to reckognize the characters in the Visionaire File of the Tutorial Game that you can download on the page above...

you removed background via layer or via magic/background eraser?

photoshop tends to leave loads of little bits here & there when you use the magic/background eraser tool.

the best idea is to create your own font map files...
use a simple font for creating the _ underscore lines & then whatever you want for the actual font characters... you can make the images & fonts as large as you like really & with as many characters as you like too.

I think the _underscore marks the beginning of a new row or the bottom edge of the font (I'm not entirely sure - I'll ask Alex to explain it to me at some point so I can write it up for the English documentation)
