Visionaire editor crash

Hi!
I've got a problem with Visionaire Studio.
I started to create my first game few weeks ago, all good until the program crashed...
From that moment on the editor doesn't work anymore.. the file.veg is opened for a few seconds then closes immediately.

Into the game folder there are two new files: visedit.dmp and vsplayer.dmp

Please help me! I spent several hours to create this game!

Message the .dmp files to BigStans or SimonS via dropbox or sendspace or something similar.

If you are using 4.0 then it should automatically create a backup file. Aside from that you should really get into the hang of manually creating backup files before & after any major changes to your game, to be on the safe side. Using something like dropbox is a good idea too as it will automatically store your files online & should anything go wrong with your computer, then you have it backed up somewhere safe.

Hi, i start to try open your dump file. I think you are not using the 4.0 Final version?
Did you have updated to 4.0 final and does the bug exists there too?

I use the version 3.6.. when the editor stopped working, I tried to install version 4.0 but the bug is still there..
When I open the file the following screen appears

Can you give me the dmp file from 4.0 ? Or the Projectfile which crashes? I need to reproduce it i think. (PM me the links or something).

I am dealing with the same problem right now. Has there been any progress in finding its cause?

We need the dmp file, detailed system information (ram, graphics card, OS, ...) and you should use the latest version of Visionaire (4.1). A reason for a crash like this could be an outdated graphics card driver, so you should try to update your driver (download directly from vendor homepage).
