Running game gives crash!

    Hello there,

I have worked on a project on a free download of Visionaire Studio 3.7.1 and on a certain moment I have saved it and clicked on 'run game'. Then the game shows a black screen for a very short moment and disappears.

Does anyone of you know what is happening here?

Also clicking the 'save and run' option gives me a black screen which disappears.

    Kind regards from Jan

    Hello Sebastian,

I am starting with the game with minimal configuration. I am changing it, but something goes wrong.
In the mean time I have bought the whole package of Visionaire Studio 4.2 and I am starting again with the game with minimal configuration. When I change the pictures of the game it goes wrong again. The following error I get:

Init failed. Could not load game. There is no game file or the game file is corrupted. For more info view the messages.log

I am changing the first scene and the start menu with my own pictures and it cannot run anymore.

And I am not using the character functions. So maybe that is the point.

In my adventure you see no characters walking.

You see only static pictures with animation or with music.

Do you have any ideas what Ia m doing wrong?

You still need to have an active character for your game to run. The character however doesn't actually need to be in any of the scenes to work. Just create one & then in game tab specify it as the active character. Also if you create any interfaces, don't forget to tick them inside of the active characters interface tab to enable them in-game.

I knew now I hadn't ad the character to my game. I deleted it every time.
