Problems with Way points

Hey everyone! Nice to meet you.

I'm trying to create my first game with Visionaire. I'm having some problems with the way points that are truly frustrating - I'm not sure if I'm missing something or not.

1st question: Can I completely delete a way point, after 'disconnecting'it from another way point? I found out that I can disconnect a way point from another one, by left - clicking (choosing) one of them and then right clicking the other one. Still, both points remain on screen. How can I get rid of one of them, if I don't need it?

2nd question: Could you please help me set my way points for this room I'm attaching with this message?

No matter how I set them, I'm having trouble in getting my character to walk from the door to the painting, or even from the painting to the plant! I need to get them below the plant first - and then guide him to the painting...

PS You can see in the picture a few way points - is there any way for me to delete them?

I appreciate your help, thank you very much!

EDIT - I just found out that I can delete the way points simply by pressing 'Delete'. So there's that. I could still use your help on setting the way points for my room!

Way points don't create strict paths, they should be considered as guidelines. The general idea is to either create very simple path shapes or to create something that kind of resembles a spiders web, but it all depends on the scene & the layout of the scene.

If you want to force strict paths then you need to make cutouts in the way border.

Quick tip: you have already figured out that by left clicking on a node & then right clicking on another node that it will connect or disconnect the 2 nodes, so taking that into consideration I'm sure you can figure out how to create spider web type way paths.

The waypoints need to be connected by pathlines. Here's an example from my game.

I actually managed to do it, yes. Thank you very much for taking the time to get back to me :-)
