I have made my game in 3480x2160 (resolution setting in game properties) and the backgrounds in the same size. When I go to run the game then it is cropped. What could the problem, why is this happening?

the game actually runs in that resolution. See, that your window at the top right corner doesnt have the "round" edge as on the left side. Also the title is not centered. When you move the window, you see that the game runs at the set resolution...

Could you check and see if it also doesnt woek in full screen mode?
I guess there is an issue with the DPI / resolution settings conflicting with the game.

Also consider if a 4k game is really the way to go. Thats really resource heavy for 2D sprites which needs to load at scene load.

are you sure it's actually set to 3480x2160 in the game settings? also, quick question: why 4k resolution in the first place? you will be severely limiting who can play your game as 4K 2D games are very resource intensive - 1080p games are already demanding enough, but according to Steam stats, the majority of people games at 1080p. It's a very small percentage of players that have 4K systems.

    Thank you guys a lot!!
Since I'm new to visionaire and game-making in general, and I have had a lot of bad experiences with files being to small, I usually opt for bigger files since then I can make them smaller but I can't make a small file bigger. But the info about 4K resolutions was really helpful and that has made me change my mind, so I'm just going to make it in full HD.
