Dae ist supported, you may need to change the texture paths in the dae, you can open it with any xml editor.

As a beginner, in all of this, I am completely lost. So I will just stick to 2D. Thanks though.

1-) Have your character ready in Mixamo
2-) Expor your mixamo character as .fbx file
3-) Import it in the 3d software that you familiar with and then export is as .X file and use it in Vis. (Keep the model and textures in same directory when you are using in Vis)

Never Mind, I tried Sketchup and there is no option to export as .x. Can anyone recommend any free software that will convert the .fbx to .x?
