Hey all, happy Monday! Can't wait any longer so here is my first 'professional' title: Jason The Greek! I have a work in progress demo that I'm pretty proud of, the site is here - would love any opinions you have:

    http://jasonthegreek.com/

It has a long way to go but to sum it up in one line:

It's Jason and The Argonauts meets Captain Kirk and crew.

I've been thinking about the menu - when I have more time I'll tidy it up but glad you like it!

I've been working in games for a looong time on different roles but mainly as a UI/UX designer although my first love it characters and animation for sure!

Make sure you sign up on the site and I'll keep you posted on updates!

    Thanks again,

haha - no troubles! I'll make sure that the sites as up to date as possible. There are plenty of bugs to squash, no doubt about it...

Know how you feel about facebook but when it comes to promoting your game, its a necessary evil I guess.

    nice & neat smile

I'm not so sure that using "take" makes much sense to be used as "use" also...

either change name of take action/command to something else or add an additional use/interact command instead. I just think it's a little bit confusing. up to you mind smile

Hey, thats a really good point. I think adding in another cursor might be a bit annoying but I think you're right, 'Grab' is better than 'Take'.

Plus that opens up all sorts of jokes for 'grabbing' characters later on...!

"grab" - still doesn't make sense to me! razz (in terms of grab being used as interaction)

    annoying? why?

me, personally: I would scrap the commands & right click cycle thing & just use a single command "left_click" for walk & interact & right click for examine (modern day command interface) - but that's just me, as I'm not particular to text selection or cycle command interfaces.
