Is there any information on the various Interface classes? What they are? What they should be used for? Differences between them? Thanks.

You can globally show / hide any interfaces associated with each specific class. You can actually add new classes via the explorer tool or by opening up the .ved inside of a text editor like sublime text, atom or notepad++ & editing the appropriate sections.

Long story short: the classes don't actually differ in anyway at all. They are just names, so it doesn't matter if you create an inventory & assign it to a different class as it will still work exactly the same way.

Ok. So it is more of a label than what a programmer would think of as a class then. There is no inheritance of features based on class.

    Exactly. smile

You would have expected different options though, based on the class names...

Is it possible that the main/secindary interface class differ a bit from the rest? It happens that when you add an alpha transparent background file (black, 30%) it appears completely black when showing the interface. When changing the interface class to the options interface class, it is like it should be (i can see through it).

Could be a bug. The interface class system was actually broken since 4.0 I think until the current public build.
