FIXED Object name stuck on pointer after scene transition.

Hello again, I don't know if this has been asked before, didn't know how to search for it.

I have a series of scenes, each play a custom cutscene right before transition from one scene to the next for the first time and I have an IF condition driven action so a cutscene is played at the beginning of the scene only the first time the player enters each scene, everything works perfectly, but then if I want to go back the the previous scenes -with only a switch scene action-, the name of the teleporting object (lets say "DoorX") gets stuck in the mouse pointer until I do an action like look/use/talk on an object, so I'm getting the DoorX name display stucked at the pointer even if I hover over every object in the scene and only changes if I do an action over any of the objects in the scene and then it works as normal until I switch scenes again.

What could be causing it? I don't know if it's due to a setting or if it's a bug.

hmm... hard to say whats wrong there.
Where does the action text is normally positioned?
Also does this strange behavior already occurs when changing from scene 1 to scene 2 and then back to scene 1?
If yes we could dig into your "code" if there is anything what could cause this.

Also just an idea: you can set in every interface an action text area. Maybe this conflicts with the default game settings...

Are you storing the object to memory on mouse over or when you click on it?

AFRLme, the objects doesn't use mous enter/leaving actions, don't know what you mean by storing the object on memory

When each scene is shown the first time it works fine, so the problem doesn't happen when the begin scene actions are used, the problem start when I go back to the previous scenes by using a hotspot directly.

The text is placed in the same spot as any other object like this(see image), but the last object's name used for the transition is stuck until I do some action on any object, hovering over any object doesn't force the name to change either.

On the first scene I have this as begin scene actions

The object that send the character to scene 2 has this in the use action:

The beginning of second scene has this:
    http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff292/glenfx/TEMP/003_zpso3u2fwnk.jpg " border="0" alt="" />

The second scene has an action to go back to scene 1 like this:

And scene 1 has this to go back to scene 2:

I just noted that if I leave the pointer on top of the object displaying it's name tag while the action is being activated on the object it will get stuck in the next scene and wont release the name from the cursor until I force an action on another object, but if I move the cursor away from the object before it changes to the other scene it works properly, so I'm guessing this is a bug?.

I'm pretty sure you mentioned something about storing objects to memory in those tutorials you wrote ages back.

It's possible to save the current object which the mouse is hovering over via an action part. If you don't clear the memory then it will keep displaying the name inside of the action text.

What option have you got selected in the "game" tab for the "activate standard command" drop down menu?

Other alternative you could try is adding a "clear saved object" action part inside of an "at end of scene" action & see if that clears the last used action text.

All I can say is that I've never experienced the issue you are reporting.

Uhm I don't recall using objects like that, I think I could have said to preload character animations in memory, but don't remember about objects being saved in memory.

The activate standard command is set to allways.

I didn't set the interface though, the person I'm helping out did, he made it like the Monkey Island 3 / Fullthrottle interface of pressing and selecting the look, use or talk. I have never made something like this so I'm oblivious on if it has something wrong there though they seem to work.

I added a clear saved object and didn't work either.

The objects don't have a hover mouse setting, I added one to see if I forced the cursor to change and didn't work, so it might be something in the interface.

Could you share some screens or a video of the interface & how it is setup please?

First screenshot... you are using the "save object" thing to memory action part I mentioned. What this does is keep the object & the related object name you added to said object via its properties tab to memory. The object name will be displayed as the action text until it is cleared.

Quick question: did you follow your old tutorial guide when setting up the interface commands? Because some of it may no longer be relevant.

P.S: try adding a "clear saved object" action part immediately after the "execute command on saved object" action shown in the 4th screenshot you posted.
