Compiling -- Vis files?

    Hello everyone!

I just found out about Visionaire, and I'm ecstatic to get started building some games! I'm considering purchasing a license but I'm somewhat concerned about the fact that games are compiled into a "vis" format...

I'm sure this question has already been asked before - but for my benefit I hope you can all help clarify for me. If I want to make a game that is accessible by the general public - are they going to need to download the trial version of the software just to open the "vis" file? How are people supposed to open "vis" files if it's not a standard executable format that windows recognizes like "bat" or "exe?"

Please excuse my ignorance if I'm completely missing something, I just want to be certain that everyone can play a game I make without needing to download proprietary software.

    Best regards, Michael

if you buy the full vesion it creates an exe, there's no way around the limitation apart from people downloading the trial to, I think the idea is you don't need to make any commitment unless you manage to make something, its way better than some otther trials that have time limits, limited scenes etc

the visplayer.exe is used to open/load the vis file, it is the same exe as when you start your game from the editor. So when you publish your game you include the vis file(s), all dll's and the visplayer.exe, this is already put together when the game is compiled (creation of .vis file).
