Clear Path - Voice not working

The "Clear Path" button once I have added a voice is not working. I keep clicking on it and the voice won't go away.
Once you insert a voice , you can't remove it... (I can replace but not remove)
Is this normal? What does that button do if not remove it?

Maybe a bug? If it's not working then I guess you will just have to create a new display/narration text. Copy the text in the current one, create a new display/narration text, paste the text into it, then delete the old display/narration text. Sorry for the inconvenience.

P.S: if it is a bug then I've never noticed before as once I've added speech files I've never needed to remove them, only occassionally replace them with updated versions.

Yes it seems it is a bug. I am removing them like you mentioned but it takes a few minutes to do it since a new Display Text , also resets the character saying it as well. This means that I need to copy the text , create a new display text , remember who said it (lots of characters so I have to scroll to find the correct one to avoid mistakes) and then paste the text whilst a simple button click would had been enough.

It will take a few hours/days to reset everything back to normal

    Just to understand this:

You're using "display text for ..." and you're trying to clear the sound file ? I tried to reproduce this in the old and the new editor and it didn't seem to be any problem.
