Classic Point & Click Adventure – Sandra and Woo in The Cursed Adventure

I am going to tell you about our current project that has been on for quite some time now. It all started with Visionaire 3.7.
We have made quite some progress so far. The game is actually based on a comic that one of our team members publishes online.
The team, well that is us, the people from Feline Fuelled Game, is a group of modders who started off with mods for RPGs and we have now advanced to making our own game.
We seriously underestimated the difficulties of making our own adventure. The hardest part was finding reliable and capable people to assist us in our task. Our persistence and perseverance, however, made up for the lack of knowhow and personnel we experienced in the first stages. The game is nearly finished by now. I say nearly, because we are now working on the last chapter and are adding some finishing touches to our animations – but that is really just tying together the last few loose ends.
The game is not perfect yet, but it has 10 hours of play time and German and English language packages for all parts of the game. And most importantly, it will be finished and you can play it.
The game consists of a tutorial, 5 chapters and an epilogue. The game is about a girl and her raccoon who are sucked into a computer game (the why and how of this “accident” is laid open bit by bit while playing the game). The girl’s friends (and you, of course) have to rescue them. The main character changes while playing and you will control Sandra, Woo – her talking raccoon – and also her friends, who want to help.
You will play some scenes twice, since Cloud, Sandra’s honourable and brave boyfriend might be at his wits’ end, but her crazy, chaotic friend Larisa knows just the right thing to do.
The game is in 2D of course, but our rendered characters are 3D.
We want to publish the game on Greenlight this year. And – if it overcomes this hurdle – we will sell it for quite a pretty penny. You will be able to play a freebie demo chapter and until then, you can watch our trailer that gives you some insight as you can see actual in-game scenes.
Go on and have a look at our one-pager with links:

If you like what you see, we would love you to support us on Greenlight. Thank you very much in advance.

Oh and have you already watched our new trailer? The sub-site links are actually working now:

We will set up shortly a blog, in which we then treat by little everything that was important for our project (and in better english than mine of course grin). But first of all, we do not use real 3D models in our adventure. Our charakters are render graphics with a modified Toonshader, made in Blender.
We use only free programs due the lack of budget wink.
