    Hi Guys

Wondered if anyone knows a good, freeware (and virus free) packager software to wrap up an VS studio game as a windows installable? Something like install shield but not £3000 smile

WiX? open source windows installation compiler. XML based. Can't say whether or not it's any good, or not.

There's quite a few open source / freeware compilers available if you google for them. Again, no idea if any of them are any good, let alone whether they are spyware free. Seems like everyone wants to cram spyware / adware into free applications these days.

Cheers for this, I took a look at Wix, and then managed to find this alternative:

Seems to have worked a treat, and a simple gui to set things up

    you could try Inno Setup:
it has lots of features and there is a GUI frontend (Inno Script Studio) in the Third-Party Files section.
