After Clicking Load - Interface appears for some ms and disappears

Have noted the following minor glitch (4.2.5 and 5RC0) and was curious:

I have created a menu screen for load/save etc.. When i click Load just before the game loads, i can see an instance of the interface appearing and disappearing for a fraction of a sec (ms). Have not been able to remove this whatever i tried (hide interface/adjust visibility etc.). I noted this also in the VS demogame, so any thoughts would be welcome.
