    Hi guys!!
it's been long time i don't post any annoying question, so today i'm here to ask something maybe foregone:

i wish to create a crossover between a point 'n click and a platformer adventure in side view so: is ther any way to contrain the directions of the character? maybe building up a very tiny way area? maybe with lua? i really don't know.

PS. i'm sorry if i have posted a solved issue but i didn't find anything with the search button

Aye small way borders & also by deleting the animations for the directions you don't need in the walk animations. VS automatically uses the next animation closer to the current direction if an animation inside of the current direction range doesn't exist. If you only have walk animations for left & right then it will only use those.

I did"Dizzy" game with an adventure gme engine and I just did very thin walkable areas, he had face front, back, left and right and he could fake jumping, basically if he moved diaganally  he jumped between way areas
I've tried top down views like a maze in VS and they work ok
