The checkbox roll over/check area is massive in Settings, its REALLY easy to accidently uncheck or check a setting, cost me an hour trying to figure out why my inventory no longer dragged lol
    Also checkboxs in Preview
    And Animation Settings
    Windows 10

i would not consider it as a bug, but a weird design decision for the user experience.

I guess it was easier to program it to recognize the checkbox click for the whole area where the checkbox label COULD have text depending on the chosen language.

Other ways would be only making the checkbox itself clickable which is not very comfortable. Most users tend to click the label of a checkbox and expect to change its state, too.

Then you could also make the text clickable, which needs to take the label text length in account... Not sure if this is easy to implement and therefore the best (easiest) solution seems to be how it currently works.

Thats at least how i assume the decision for the current implementation...

I actually thought the problem of the boxes unchecking was loading another project, the project I'm working on magically unchecked at least two checkboxes and cost me a lot f time, the project I'd simply loaded, checked a script didn't have these boxes checked (it had no inventory) my actual project changed to mirrored the checkbox settings from the project I'd simply loaded and looked at.
I know I'm getting old but something odd happened yesterday, I know for a fact I didn't click on the boxes at the point you'd expect them to work, I could of clicked outside. I had edited the "At begin Start the following action" part several times but the close button is no where near, this is an old project I have no need to change anything in settings apart from adding actions

I never thought about the language dictating the width, but still there's stuff that can be done and other checkboxes behave as you'd expect
