Visionaire for Linux/Ubuntu

Is there any way to run Visionaire on Ubuntu? I mean normal way not by using Wine...

there was a Linux player last year but it needed refining and I think the focus shifted to Mac support However the games work perfectly in Wine.. I'm surprised how well they actually do run, my own game seems to run better on my Linux (Ubuntu)laptop which in theory should be slower than my Vista desktop. Maybe Wine was considered the cleaner and easier option?

Seems to work fine under Wine. We launched both editor and a game and they worked fine. May be there is no need to work on Linux version right now since it is not so important if everything works under Wine. There are more important things... and I think one of them is playing games online. Will open a separate post of this...
