Congrats for the new game smile

I have a little niggle.. the time it takes to tell you you're dead, the result and the retry option is wayyyyyyyyyyy to long.
After 4 tries it was "oh come on!" I've already seen it 3 times already coz I suck lol

I still don't understand what I have to do! I think I just suck at these kind of games though as I was terrible at "This War of Mine" as well which involved resource & member management with enforced time restrictions. A GUI which tells me what's happening on the screen would be especially useful as it's always the health that seems to get me regardless of how many times I right click the mouse. I don't see any indication on his suit as to what his health is... maybe you could add a floating number above him or display some information on the window panel?

Aside from that, it's looking a lot better than the version you sent me a few weeks or so back. wink

Yes you helped me a lot with some bugs and thanks, i really appreciate it =)

I wanted it to be subtle, theres some indications:

The room pressure lights the lamp.
The character health makes him slower the lower the health.
The door shakes more when lower (oh and the door its the only thing that when you repair it repairs to the maximum value) =)
    The computer lights the screens.

I really wanted to make it simple, no objects, no inventory, to gather the attention around the details of the character and the scenario.

Aye, you told me before. I've no idea why I am struggling so much with it. I always end up dying with the health thing, which seems to be able to happen about 5 seconds after topping up his health with right click.

Thats weird, what it does is every 5 seconds he loses a random value in health between 5 and 10, so it takes some time to die.

Yeah, I think longest I've lasted is about 1 minute & a bit at most. Maybe make the value a little less? Say between 1 & 5?

Tryed it, got vibes from both "risk of rain" and "gods will be watching". Twas fun smile.
Indeed the time to wait at death is a bit slow. Unless you really want the death to be a frustrating experience (wich is a valid gameplay point to be honest), I would sugest to shorten the time you have to wait to relaunch, even more you could add a shortcut to restart as soon as you die (a keyboard shortcut for example), à la SuperMeatBoy.

Still a very enjoyable and atmospheric experience !
It is indeed not very easy to read what is going on on the first plays, but I don't really mind. The lack of clear info on what is going on do accentuate the sensation of urgency.

Oh and the deaths are leightfully gruesome !

So yeah, great game, thank you for sharing it!

1 and 5 would make it really easy i think, i tested different values and even different times, also i want it to be hard, remenber its a one room game, so you finish it and its over, but maybe gotta do some changes.

    Thank you Cesar

Dont know "risk of rain", gotta take a look, actually the wait time when dying was thinking in creating atmosphere, not rushing the game.

Yes thats the point, wanted to create urgency, and also some fear into the game, also i love gory pixel graphics and animations =)

Thanks a lot glad you liked the game =)

"Risk of rain" is a roguelike platformer shooter with an emphasis on combat. The gameplay in itself is by nature, quite different but the graphics and the fact that you are stranded on an unforgiving planet create some of the similarities. The sense of urgency is also quite present as the more you wait to progress in each level the harder it gets (hence the name "risk of rain" wink ).
