Hi, everyone, here is the problem:
There is hole in the fence and there is hidden item there. The character cant take it until he looks at it. He looks at it and then he can take it. But the problem is when the item is already in inventory - he still says there is something there. I followed Glen Fernandes'es tutorial but i think there is mistake there.. Could anyone help me please )) I broke my mind trying to solve this ))

And vice versa if the character looks at it at second time he says There is nothing here, but the item is there (not in inventory)

Ok, guys, this topic can be closed. Actually there IS mistake in that tutorial and i figured it out! There should be two conditions for both - take and look actions and therefore there should be two ELSE paragraphs in both, but there is only one condition and one ESLE in look action in tutorial

Glenfx tutorials while mostly still valid are a little old & the engine has changed quite a bit over the past few years & will continue to change, improve & grow.

I'm glad you managed to figure out what the issue was yourself, as it's a much better learning experience than me, or someone else giving you the solution. wink
